International law firm CMS continues to strengthen its Intellectual Property offering with the appointment of Senior Patent Attorney Sarah Klaczynska and Senior Trademark Attorney Katie Goulding in its Sheffield office.

Sarah Klaczynska joins CMS after spending five years at GlaxoSmithKline Vaccines where she led the patent team supporting GSK’s R&D centre in Siena, Italy. During this time, she gained considerable expertise in vaccine technologies, and in developing IP strategies to protect vaccine innovation.  Sarah has over 15 years’ experience of advising clients in the life sciences sector.

Katie Goulding joins the firm after spending 10 years at IP specialist firm HGF Limited in Leeds.  Recognised as a ‘Leader’ and ‘Influential Woman in IP’ by global publication World IP Review, Katie has established a steadfast reputation helping start-ups secure IP funding and grow their IP, to collaborating with a market-leader FMCG brand to develop its internal IP Policy and Strategy.  Katie has considerable experience of managing and developing IP strategies for businesses of all sizes, domestically and internationally.
