Justin LambertMishcon de Reya is pleased to announce that Justin Lambert joined the firm’s Intellectual Property team as Of Counsel on 20 February 2022.

Justin joins from his boutique litigation firm, Lambert Hornby, and is a dual-qualified solicitor in Australia and the United Kingdom, with over 20 years of experience in intellectual property matters in both jurisdictions. He is recognised as a leading patent lawyer and has handled a large variety of contentious patent, trade mark, copyright and design cases.

Alongside his contentious work, Justin also has significant commercial expertise, including providing due diligence and freedom to operate advice, and drafting research and development, collaboration, and other intellectual property agreements.

Justin has a background in science, having studied chemistry and pure maths. This complements his industry sector expertise that includes pharmaceutical, natural resources, semiconductors, electrical engineering and chip design.

Prior to co-founding Lambert Hornby, Justin worked for Clifford Chance, before progressing his career in senior roles with two of Australia’s most respected intellectual property firms, K&L Gates and Griffith Hack.
