Nominations for the 2024 WIPO Global Awards are now open: How to Apply: WIPO Global Awards 2024.
This year’s awards recognize exceptional small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups that make smart use of intellectual property (IP) and positively contribute to society.
The awards are open to applicants from the entire range of business activity – the creative industries, local and international brands, green-tech innovators, and, for the first time startups, that are tapping into the potential of IP from the onset of their entrepreneurial journey.
Winners receive mentoring to support their IP strategies, including fundraising, partnership opportunities, and publicity support. SMEs and startups from any of WIPO’s 193 Member States may self-nominate for the award through March 31, 2024.
In just two years, WIPO’s Global Awards Program has evolved into the most prestigious industry award exclusively dedicated to honoring the small-business community for their exceptional achievements in:
- Driving IP assets into profitable commercial ventures
- Leveraging IP for business growth
- Delivering commercial solutions for SDG impact.
