Leading European IP boutique HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER has promoted Roeland Grijpink to partner.
Roeland joined the team in Amsterdam in 2012. His practice covers all areas of intellectual property law, with a special focus on patents. His clients include multinationals as well as SMEs and innovative startups. Roeland also litigates and advises on (IP-related) competition law issues and commercial contracts.
Over the years, Roeland developed particular expertise in assisting clients in litigation of standard-essential patents and “FRAND” issues. Roeland has been recognized as a “Rising Star” since 2018 by Managing Intellectual Property IP STARS and was selected as “one to watch in Dutch patent litigation” by JUVE Patent in 2023.
Roeland comments on his promotion: “I am very excited about this next step in my career. I feel privileged to be part of such an inspiring and driven team and look forward to the future ahead.”
Benoît Strowel, Managing Partner of HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER: “Year after year, I get so excited by our most talented associates being promoted to partner. Roeland is one of them. His creative mind and hard work will be an asset, and I am proud to count him as my partner.”
