Maucher Jenkins is delighted to announce the addition of a high-caliber team from df-mp to its Munich office. On January 1, 2025, the team led by Philipp Nordmeyer, an experienced partner and both German and European Patent Attorney, joined the firm. With their broad technical expertise and extensive experience, the group brings additional strengths in mechanical engineering, medical technology, automotive technology, fintech, applied physics, and related technologies.
In addition to Nordmeyer, the team includes four German and/or European Patent Attorneys – Dr Andreas Brzank, Dr Adrianus van den Berg, Johannes Wirth, and Benjamin Zang – along with a patent engineer. The group is further supported by a skilled and experienced team of four patent paralegals who have also transitioned to Maucher Jenkins.
Nordmeyer states: “Joining Maucher Jenkins provides us with an excellent opportunity to further develop our expertise within an internationally oriented firm with a dynamic approach. We look forward to working with our new colleagues to create pragmatic and practical solutions for our clients.”
The team brings not only extensive technical expertise but also considerable experience in strategy and representing clients in proceedings before the European Patent Office and its Boards of Appeal, the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, and the Federal Patent Court.
Felix Rummler, Managing Partner of Maucher Jenkins in Munich, adds: “We are thrilled to welcome such a strong and experienced team. The addition of Philipp Nordmeyer and his team further strengthens our position in both the German and international markets, allowing us to offer our clients an even broader range of expertise and client-focused solutions.” This strategic move underscores Maucher Jenkins’ commitment to continuous growth and reinforces its leading position in intellectual property protection in Europe.
