Washington, D.C. –  September 4, 2024 – Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox today announced that Jon Wright has returned to the firm as General Counsel. Wright was previously a director in the firm’s Trial & Appellate and Electronics Practice Groups and co-chair of the firm’s PTAB Trials practice before leaving at the end of 2023.

In his new position, Wright will oversee the legal affairs of the firm, including litigation, risk management, loss prevention, ethics, and compliance-related issues. He will also chair Sterne Kessler’s Ethics Committee, which will include providing ethics and risk management training and counsel to attorneys and staff. In addition, Wright will review and negotiate contractual agreements on behalf of the firm.

Wright received his JD, with high honors, from George Mason University – Antonin Scalia Law School and his BSEE in electrical engineering from the University of Vermont. In between his undergraduate studies and law school, Wright spent seven years as an officer in the US Navy Submarine Force.
