CHICAGO – Honigman LLP announced today that Devin Carpenter joined the firm as a partner in the Litigation Department of the firm’s Chicago office. He is the eighth partner to join the firm’s Chicago office this year.
“Our litigation practice is experiencing rapid growth, and with Devin’s arrival, we now have 30 Chicago-based attorneys with deep experience in intellectual property and traditional litigation,” said J. Michael Huget, chair of Honigman’s Litigation Department. “Devin is a highly skilled litigator whose experience will further strengthen our team and enhance the depth and breadth of our litigation capabilities.”
Carpenter is a commercial litigator with experience in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts around the country. He represents clients in complex, high-stakes disputes in a variety of areas, including antitrust, trade secrets, breach of contract, fraud, privacy, and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). His clients span a range of industries, including telecommunications, insurance, agriculture, manufacturing, and finance.

Carpenter earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago School of Law and his B.A. from Indiana University with highest distinction.
