Hogan Lovells welcomes esteemed IP litigator David Perlson to the firm’s San Francisco office

San Francisco, January 13, 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that David Perlson has joined the firm as a partner in the Global Regulatory & Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm’s San Francisco office. Perlson, who comes from Quinn Emanuel, brings first-chair trial experience representing technology companies in patent, trade secret, and other IP and commercial disputes.

Perlson is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer with a focus on intellectual property and commercial litigation, including patent, trade secret, and antitrust cases. Throughout his career, he has successfully taken numerous cases to verdict, including before juries, and achieved many victories through dispositive motions before trial. Additionally, Perlson has argued and won several appeals at the Federal Circuit.

Perlson has a wealth of experience representing technology companies operating in areas that include the Internet, digital media, smartphones, and other mobile devices. He also has represented clients in the life sciences, financial services, and gaming sectors.
