HOFFMANN EITLE is pleased to announce that German Attorney-at-Law and experienced patent litigator Dr Thomas Gniadek will soon join the firm as a partner and co-chair of the patent litigation group.
Dr Gniadek brings a wealth of experience and a strong reputation in his field. His practice focuses on complex patent disputes in high-tech sectors, including digital technologies, telecommunications, and medical devices.
This senior lateral hire reflects HOFFMANN EITLE’s strategic commitment to expanding its litigation capacity in Germany and before the Unified Patent Court (UPC), further building on the firm’s successful start in the new European patent litigation landscape.
HOFFMANN EITLE has been involved in around 40 cases before the UPC so far. This strong litigation activity complements the firm’s market-leading European patent prosecution and opposition practice, which includes more than 120 qualified patent attorneys and attorneys-at-law.
Given the importance of seamless cooperation between technical and legal expertise at the UPC, HOFFMANN EITLE’s clients benefit from integrated teams of patent attorneys and attorneys-at-law, working closely together to achieve the best possible results.
Dr Gniadek’s move to HOFFMANN EITLE strengthens the firm’s ability to represent its clients’ interests in high-stakes patent litigation with deep technical insight and legal precision.
Further information on Dr Gniadek’s start date will be announced in due course.
