IP firm Forresters has moved to larger offices in Munich to support its plans for growth.

Forresters has taken a larger 335 sq m [3,600 sq ft] space at the Skygarden, doubling its existing presence in the same building on Erika-Mann-Str. The new office can accommodate up to 14 members of staff.

The Forresters Munich office already includes four patent and trade mark professionals and a team of four providing business support. Partner Matt Barton, head of the Munich office (pictured below), said the new office marks the beginning of an exciting period of planned expansion for the firm.

“Forresters has had a permanent presence in Munich for many years, serving as a base from which to represent our clients before the European Patent Office and the EUIPO. In response to increased client demand and to a changing IP landscape, including the forthcoming Unitary Patent, we are now looking to expand our offering and strengthen the team in Munich with some strategic hires over the coming months.

“After a turbulent couple of years with office closures and adapting to new ways of working, this feels like a new start and it is fantastic to welcome everyone back into our new office.”
