Carpmaels & Ransford is pleased to announce the promotion of Alexander Wilson and Michelle Montgomery to Senior Associates, effective from 1 July 2024.
Wilson has extensive experience in handling all stages of patent prosecution, as well as EPO opposition and appeal proceedings, and advising on patent validity. Wilson has worked on a diverse range of subject matter, including therapeutic antibodies, gene therapies, and bioanalytical methods.
Montgomery has experience in prosecuting a broad range of chemical subject matter including, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, medical devices, catalysts, polymers, and nanomaterials before the European Patent Office. Montgomery also has extensive experience drafting patent applications, handling EPO opposition and appeal proceedings, and advising on freedom to operate.

This news follows the partner promotions of Life Sciences patent attorneys Daniel Goodman and Paul Kaufman, which were also effective from 1 July 2024.
