Promotion expands Adamson Jones’ services for chemistry-based clients

Patent and trademark attorneys Adamson Jones has enhanced its services for clients with chemistry-based intellectual property (IP) with the promotion of patent attorney Katherine Wright to senior associate.

Wright, who has worked at the Nottingham-based company for nearly 15 years, specializes in supporting clients with obtaining and managing IP protection for chemistry-based innovations, including in pharmaceuticals, formulation chemistry, analytical chemistry, and inorganic chemistry, as well as in the wider fields of wound care and medical devices. As part of her new role, she is aiming to develop her practice, specifically in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.

“I’m really happy to be promoted and to have this opportunity to build Adamson Jones’ services and client base with a strong offering to companies working in the chemical sector,” Wright said. “I’m looking forward to working with clients who are at the forefront of innovation, to understand their needs and help them to secure protection that complements and strengthens their commercial aims.”

Wright joined Adamson Jones as a patent assistant in 2010, qualifying as a Chartered UK Patent Attorney in 2013, and subsequently as a Chartered European Patent Attorney in 2014. Since then, she has worked with a range of clients, including start-ups, SMEs, and multinational companies, supporting them from the early stages of research right through to the achievement of a commercial product and beyond.
