The first London office has been opened by Wynne-Jones IP, a UK intellectual property firm specializing in patents, trademarks, copyright, design & IP strategy, today announces that it has opened its first London office in the heart of the city’s legal district.

This launch comes as the firm has achieved double-digit growth for the third year running; the continued popularity of entrepreneurial business trends such as crowd-funding has led to a surge in interest in brand and invention protection generally and increased client opportunities for Wynne-Jones IP.  Alongside this, the firm has invested heavily in recent years to secure many new, high-quality IP professionals to service existing clients and to expand its portfolio, particularly in the life sciences and engineering sectors.

The new London office will accommodate the UK Head Office of AIPEX BV, the pan-European IP law firm that Wynne-Jones IP owns in conjunction with a small number of other prominent European IP firms.  AIPEX acts as regional counsel for multi-nationals and other corporates looking for a solution to the problems of developing and managing intellectual property portfolios in the multi-jurisdictional landscape of contemporary Europe.  AIPEX provides a single point of entry for them to European countries, both within and outside of, the European Union.

The office will be headed up by Wynne-Jones IP’s long-serving Partner and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, Victor Caddy, who is relocating back to the capital from the firm’s Cheltenham office. He has more than twenty years’ experience as a Trade Mark and Design Attorney and Litigator.   Joining Victor will be Amelia McClure, PA to the Wynne-Jones Trade Mark team. They will be supported by the Wynne-Jones IP paralegal and administration teams plus around thirty patent, trade mark and design attorneys in the UK and over two hundred throughout Europe.

Commenting on the opening of its first London office, Wynne-Jones IP lead Partner, Victor Caddy, said: “A year ago we set out to launch our first London office within four years and have achieved this in less than twelve months.  This is thanks to the high quality of the team we have managing our business planning, and the dedication and enthusiasm of all our staff.
