Apple said it will continue selling older iPhone models in its German stores, despite being banned due to a patent infringement ruling. The iPhones to be sold in Germany will have chips from Qualcomm, instead of a mix of chips from Qualcomm and Intel Corp.

Apple said it had to comply to continue selling iPhones which comply with the patent infringement ruling handed down last year. Apple’s recent iPhone models have dropped Qualcomm’s chips completely in favor of Intel’s, but Qualcomm continues to supply Apple with chips for older models, which Apple said it would use only for German iPhone 7 and 8 models.
